The young are always so impressionable…
Bailey who was thought to be one of the few Pro-Business Democrats, looks to be the vote McCarthy and Murphy need to pass the prevailing wage legislation. Don’t worry; I’m sure he will be pro-business when the next campaign rolls around. Pathetic.
Update: The amendment Baily wanted included didn't make the cut and he voted no.

What a weak little puke.
ReplyDeleteSo are we at 51 or 52?
ReplyDeleteTHEY not 'we'
ReplyDeleteAnd that district could have had Jamie Johnson instead. See what your vote got you??????
ReplyDeleteso what's wrong with US putting pressure on THEM? Don't we have some former marines or something we could use against the ball breakers?
ReplyDeletewhere is baily? what location? Does he have a dog?
ReplyDeleteWith both Bailey and Olive up in 2010...Republicans have a lot of motivation to end their pathetic, liberal kareers being one thing back home and being something else in Des Moines.
ReplyDeleteThere is no such thing as a pro-business Democrat. It's no more possible than for a Democrat to be a Christian.
ReplyDeleteGet in my Bailey!
ReplyDelete4:04
ReplyDeleteBAILEY VOTED NO AND RAN OUT OF THE BUILDING!!!
ReplyDeleteBailey voted no and ran away from the union thugs like a little grrrrl
ReplyDeleteBailey is gone from the bldg. His car is gone.
ReplyDeleteHe screwed Kmac
Republicans need to be ready to welcome Bailey into their caucus because he will NEVER be allowed back into the thug caucus that are the Iowa Democrats.
ReplyDeleteMarek might need to come over too.
If this goes down, Patrick Murphy and Kevin McCarthy have suffered the most embarassing and costly loss of their career. They look like complete and total idiots.
5:43 and 5:44...You shouldn't mock Bailey for doing exactly what you wanted him to do. Don't be idiots.
ReplyDeleteNo crap.
ReplyDeleteTime to welcome him to the Republican side - that's a bold move! I hope Pettengill and Struyk take him aside and let him know that he's welcome on our side any day of the week. After all, they switched parties because of these idiots Murphy and McCarthy, and Bailey should too.
WOW!! Congratulations to Bailey!!!
ReplyDeleteBailey & Marek did exactly the right thing, they needed to get out of there quickly, otherwise it could have gotten ugly if they'd started twisting arms
ReplyDeleteI just heard from an incredibly reliable source that they are going to keep the voting machine open all weekend, and NOT Adjourn.
s/Sandy Griener
Don't be ridiculous... McKinley Bailey caucusing with the Republicans? He is a Democrat... through and through!
ReplyDeleteHe is FOR abortion... FOR gay marriage... FOR gay sex education in the public schools, beginning in kindergarten... and FOR human cloning...
He is also AGAINST the the right to use a gun in your own home against violent thugs... AGAINST Christian counseling programs in Iowa prisons... AGAINST the display of the American Flag at public school assemblies... and AGAINST starting each school day with the Pledge of Allegiance.
Bailey must NOT be welcomed into the Republican caucus! Let the little wimp be hung out to dry! No one who voted 41 times to raise taxes should be allowed to caucus with us.
Bailey and Marek need to get clear out of Dodge. What a pile of crap to keep a machine open all weekend.
ReplyDeleteThese strong-arm thugs will have no mercy on Bailey and Marek.
They they mysteriously change their minds we will know that union thugs do what union thugs do.
Is this Chicago?
Get protection for those boys!!
ReplyDeletesandy greiner for speaker
ReplyDeleteBailey was at the fireside chat in Hamilton County and got lots of praise for his NO vote! He knows if he switches, he will pay dearly.
ReplyDeleteOlive says if they get the 51 votes, there is enough senate vote to pass it to the big LUG! McCarthy says he will switch to no vote to be able to bring this up again later. Then he could sneak it thru in the middle of the night. We must be very watchful of the future goings on.
